<p>Correcting fluid for covering markings, e.g. typed or written characters, consists of an aq. dispersion of a pigment and a vinyl acetate copolymer binder. The co-monomer is pref. di-n-butyl maleate. Use of flammable solvents which also cause bleeding of colour from ink marks, is avoided. Higher pigment concns can be used in dispersion than in solns. and adequate drying tonics are achieved. Covering power is excellent and over-typing capability is fully retained. The dispersions are stable and do not settle out.</p> |
