<p>The lower part (1) of the letter perforator has a base plate (2) with side cheeks (4, 4') which are bent vertically upwards and, with projecting parts, in which the bearings (9, 9') for the pressure plate are arranged, overlap the part (21), which contains the die recesses (3, 3'), of a trough pressed upwards from the base plate (2). The flanks of this trough, which extend outwards at an angle towards the insertion slot, extend in the region of the edges, which delimit the depth of the insertion slot, of the side cheeks (4, 4') up to the latter and form with them an acute angle, so that despite the use of relatively thin sheet steel, warping is avoided at this point which is subjected to most of the stress. <IMAGE></p> |
