The roller type sliding gear is for the retractable bin of a pharmaceutical cabinet. The support structure comprises a three-piece extendable arm of which terminal lengths are fixed to the cabinet, a compound section 'T' section is fixed to the cabinet, a compound section which includes two back to back interspaced angled irons (18) is fixed to the bin, and the intermediate length is compounded of two channel sections (7). Rollers transmit the load between the various members and aid their relative displacement on the longitudinal axis. The arm may retract automatically under gravity. The channels (7), with concavities facing, straddle the web (4) of the 'T' section. The angle irons (18) similarly straddle the base of the compound channel section. |
