PURPOSE:To develop an image having a three-dimensional feeling by a method wherein a coating material formed by compounding a planar hematite particle of specific average diameter, thickness, and planar ratio in a coating material forming base is applied on the surface of a molded article, and a magnetic field is applied to the coating material in an undried state. CONSTITUTION:A coating material formed by compounding a planar hematite particle of 0.5-5.0mum average diameter, 50-500Angstrom thickness, and 50:1-500:1 planar ratio in a coating material forming base is applied on the surface of a molded article. When a magnetic field is applied to the coating material in an undried state, an image formed by controlling the strength and direction of a magnetic flux can be developed on the surface of the molded article, and the image developed part is seen as if it is recessed. The large color difference between a magnetic field applied part and the other part results in a remarkably good three-dimensional feeling. Because the planar hematite particle of 0.5-5.0mum average diameter, 50-500Angstrom thickness, and 50:1-500:1 planar ratio is golden, it becomes a golden coating material having a metallic luster by being compounded in the coating material forming base. Therefore, a high-quality feeling and a massive feeling are further improved in addition to the forming of an image with a three-dimensional feeling. |
