Such unit comprises diodes 1 . . . 3 and 4 . . . 6 inserted in respective conductive bridges 7, 8 having output terminals 20, 21 and whose electrical centres 17 . . . 19 are connected to the plugs; the unit housing 9, closed by a ceramics cover 12, may have cooling fins 29. The sockets lead from star-connected output windings in a stator stack 29. In another embodiment the unit is attached to the side of the end plate. |
