Method for heating an inclined roof and side wall greenhouse comprises using waste cooling water from a thermal or nuclear power station. This water is allowed to flow in a continuous film over the roof and side walls.Specifically, a pipe fed with the waste cooling water is arranged along the roof ridge and at the bottom edges of the greenhouse side walls, and water collector channels are connected to a take off pipe line. A water heating device is pref. fitted before the supply pipe.
