By mixing, in an aqueous medium, sugar, in an amount of not more than 50% by weight, and a gum which is inactive towards calcium, in an amount of 0.4 to 1.6% by weight, coating syrups stable in contact with the coated medium are obtained. By way of coated media, milk jelly-type products can be used. |
