<p>The machine for feeding stacked inverted covers to paper or plastic containers consists of a central stack positioned above the closed container and a distributor positioned across the central stack. The distributor guides the inverted covers discharge from the central stack to a station for placing them on the containers. In the bottom part of the central stack is located a gripping device (5) which presses against edges of a number of bottom covers (3). Above the gripping device is mounted a pusher (9). During downwards movement of the pusher, a group of the covers is removed from the stack shaft (4). The stack grip consists of a number of clamping jaws which are grouped in horizontal plane round the stack shaft (4) and are adjustable to suit the shape and size of the inverted covers (3).</p> |
