<p>Damping unit for transfer printing machine has a solvent container coupled to a distribution vessel by a metering valve. The outlet openings to the distribution vessel are covered with a felt strip. The metering valve operates automatically in unison with the operating cycle of the printing machine and pref. is opened once for each rotation of the printing plate cylinder. The metering valve can be operated manually. The air inlet valve on the solvent container is designed so that when it opens, the metering valve opens. The solvent container and distribution vessel are made from an integral piece of plastic.</p> |
