A printed circuit board has a front strip with recesses for the mounting of individual modules. The printed circuit card has a substantial strip mounted onto the edge of the card having a number of recesses located along its length. Typically the recesses can be profiled to receive the adjustment knobs of potentiometers, or retain switches or plug connectors. Similarly a bank of light emitting diodes may be included.
