1515515 Cameras with exposure meters ASAHI KOGAKU KOGYO KK 11 July 1975 [12 July 1974] 29265/75 Heading G2A In a photographic camera, particularly a SLR camera, light passing through the objective 1 passes to a view-finder, and light from a luminous display 8 is reflected into the view-finder so as to appear superimposed on the scene. Light from objective 1 is partially reflected from a retractable semitransparent mirror 2 to a lens 3 and a plate 2, and after passing through a pentaprism 4 forms an image of the scene which is viewed by means of an eye-piece 5. Part of the beam is transmitted by mirror 2 to a photo-electric cell 7, the output of which feeds a computation circuit 9 producing signals in a luminous indicator 8 with a digital display. The display is reflected at a semi-transparent surface 6a into the pentaprism, which also passes image-forming rays from the objective mirror 2 and photo-electric cell 7 are both removed from the beam path prior to exposure. |
