The installation has a multi-stage compressor with intercooling, compressed air being delivered to an accumulator via a heat accumulator. A multi-stage turbine receives air from the air accumulator via the heat accumulator. The heat accumulator has a liquid heat storage medium, and is connected to the intercooler, a reheater of the turbine and also to a heat exchanger between the compressor or turbine and the air accumulator. A cooler is provided to dissipate any non useful heat, the cooler being supplied with compressed air and/or the heat accumulating medium. |
