IMPROVEMENTS IN TERMINAL BLOCKS FOR THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTION OF ELECTRIC HOT-PLATES

The connector, for a cooker's hotplate, consists of an insulating block (15) attached to the hotplate by hooked tags and having screw connectors (for wires) inside it. To prevent the projecting heads of the screws being short circuited by metal parts of the cooker the ends of the block are extended to form legs (30). The legs are 1/10 the length of the lower edge of the block and are inclined outwards. The block has overhanging top edges (28) over which the hotplate's hooked tags engage.
