The current balancer, for a push-pull d. c converter, has a comparator comparing the currents in the two main push-pull transistor circuits and producing a correction signal when they are unequal. This correction signal readjusts the current balance. The comparator contains two sample and hold circuits, one for each transistor. When a transistor receives a pulse its sample and hold circuit stores the current flowing through it whilst the other sample and hold circuit delivers the current stored previously when the other transistor was conducting. These two currents are passed to the comparator.
|
