Vibration generator for ground compacting roller - has solenoid preventing spontaneous out of balance weight rotation when exciter is disconnected (HU 27.5.78)

The vibration generator is used for compacting rollers with two kinetic moments. The drive shaft has two out of balance weights of which one is held firmly with a stop and the second one is able to rotate. At least one of the two out of balance weights (1,2) is provided with a solenoid (3) which pulls the second of the two out of balance weights (1,2) towards the end position. The solenoid ensures mutual firm connection of both out of balance weights in the end position. This connection prevents spontaneous rotation of the free out of balance force into second and position when the exciter is disconnected.
