<p>Plant growth regulator compsns. contain 1-phenyl-2-triazolylethyl ethers of formula (I) or their salts. (where R is halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, alkylsulphonyl, haloalkyl, NO2, CN, opt. substd. phenyl or opt. substd. phenoxy; R' is alkyl alkenyl, alkynyl, or an opt. substd. phenyl, benzyl or styryl gp.; n = 0-3). The compsns. are esp. useful for dwarfing crop plants such as soya, cereals and cotton. (I) are also stated to have herbicidal and fungicidal activity.</p> |
