<p>Photographic treatment composition consists of (I) a solvent for silver halides, (II) a silver halides developer of formula (II), and (III) optionally an activator for development. (where R is C1-5 alkoxy; one of R1, R2 and R3 is C1-5 alkyl, C1-5 alkoxy, phenyl, alkylphenyl, or a group (IIa) or (IIb); R4 and R5 are each C1-5 alkyl; R6 is the atoms required to form a morpholino, piperidino or succinimido group; and the rest of R1, R2, and R3 are H atoms). The photographic developer composition has a relatively rapid action, and gives images showing a good range of density and contrast. Fogging and parasitical colouration of the image is avoided.</p> |
