Building panel using core and outer ceramic layer - where both are bonded by thermosetting resin in one moulding operation

Composite materials are made using an underlayer or core (b) of organic or mineral particles bonded by a thermosetting resin (TR); and at least one outer coating (a) of a ceramic prod. based on clay with a TR. The agglomeration of particles (b), and the hardening of coating (a) are carried out in a single operation in a heating press, at 190 degrees C., using a pressure of 5-35 kg/cm2. Used in mfr. of facing panels, partitions, and other elements, for the building industry. The ceramic layer (a) can be used on various supporting underlayers (b), and moulding carried out in one operation.
