The air induction noise damper consist consists of a box fitted to the vehicle chassis by flexible mountings. the box volume is dependant upon engine data in order not to upset air requirements. The box is provided with an external air intake union and an outlet. The outlet union is connected to the engine intake existing air filter. The damper box inner chamber has deflector plates to extend the air flow through the box. The plates and the damper box interior walls are coated with a deeply corrugated layer of sound absorbing materials.
