To take away the domestic drain and sewage water, a given volume is first collected together and then forced by compressed air into a collection line. The same volume of air as the volume of sewage water, measured under atmospheric conditions, is forced into the collection line. The compressed air is generated by a compressor which is common to a number of house pipe connections. The sewerage water is collected at each house in relatively small volumes of 8-50 litres. After reaching the given volume, it is forced directly into the collection line.
|
