<p>The floating body is for covering fluids sensitive to oxygen, and partic. for use in the chemical and mineral oil industries. It can be filled with ballast material to adjust the immersion depth. It is lens-shaped to avoid layering and ballasted to keep it in a stable position. The design gives 98% coverage of the liquid surface, with corresponding low rate of vapourisation and heat loss.</p> |
