Fade=out control system for cine camera - operates with additional signal supplied to comparator circuit without affecting setting of bridge network

The cine camera is fitted with a bridge network incorporating the exposure sensor to determine the aperture setting. A differential amplifier and a comparator circuit provide the correction signals for the servo motor to set the aperture at its correct value. To control the fade-out and fade-in sequences between scenes a correction signal is generated and fed directly to the comparator. The correction signal bypasses the bridge and uses no mechanical contacts. A solid state switching control is usdd so that contact potentials etc. are avoided. Accurate correction to the aperture is obtained with a simple layout.
