Foil transporting system in plastics packaging making and filling line - has pusher driven by cam drive with axially changing cam section

Equipment for linear transport of a foil band is described in machine for producing, filling and closing packings made of deep drawn plastics foil band sealed by cover after filling. A transport pusher guided in transport direction and provided with means for engaging the foil band or the working station. The transport pusher is moved in forward and reverse direction by a swinging arm of a cam drive. The swinging arm is fitted with a roller which is in contact with a control cam of a rotatably mounted and driven cam carrier. The cam carrier forms a cam body (6) which is in direction of the cam carrier axis and relatively to the roller (4) of the swinging arm adjustable and changeable in section. The sequentially following outlines of the sections form a number of control cams (K, K2,...) with a continuously changing lift. All the control cams are positioned on a surface line (7) which is parallel to axis of rotation (5) and is corresponding to starting position of the transport pusher.
