In examples, these compounds are prepared by reacting a corresponding 6-ethoxycarbonylmethyl pyrimidine with NH 2 OH. Therapeutic compositions for administration by the oral, parenteral or rectal routes comprise compounds of the above formula, which have vasodilatory, anti-ulcer, respiratory analeptic, hypotensive, diuretic, antidepressive, analgesic, antiinflammatory and neurotropic activity.</p> |
