Production of knitted goods, esp. clothing. By knitting polyester or mixed polyester/natural fibre yarns pref. with a regular resistant selvage and following this with a heat fixing or stabilising treatment by at least one gaseous medium, utilising yarn having S + Z twist, whereby the knitted goods, pref. stretched transversely and, if necessary, shrunk longitudinally, are placed on a frame and subjected to a heat fixing/stabilising treatment at 160-210 degrees C for 20-60 secs, and are finally boiled after making-up into articles of clothing. |
