In the embodiment described the hose 38 comprises an elastomeric inner tube 40, a braided filament sheath 42 surrounding the inner tube 40, an intermediate elastomeric tube 44 which is in turn surrounded by a further braided filament sheath 46, an outer tube 48 surrounding the sheath 46 and a braided reinforcement cover 50. The braided sheaths 42, 46 and 50 may be formed of metallic and non- metallic materials, polyester being particularly suitable.</p> |
