The steering wheel is supported on a tubular frame (2) made up fo sections which are joined by coupling pieces and bolted or pinned together. The frame carries a seat which is mounted on special supports on the tubular frame. The seat may be in the form of a locker. The steering wheel is mounted on the front end of the frame. In an alternative arrangement the wheel supports are movable so that the wheel position can be altered forwards or backwards. The frame also carries the engine control.
