Expanded polyurethane and thermoplastic window unit - with vertical columns tapering at top according to recess for Venetian blind

Window unit of expanded polyurethane and thermoplastic material, pref. ABS resin, comprises two vertical columns disposed between the window sill and an upper transom, and tapering in their upper regions according to a recess for a Venetian blind. The columns support the winding drum for the blind, and house internally the unwinder for the belt for the blind. One transom forms the window sill, while two upper transoms delimit the recess for the winding drum of the blind; the lower one of these two transoms forms, together with part of the columns and the window sill transom, the window frame itself. The window unit can be installed directly in the masonry-work, and can be mfd. in one operation, apart from the window frame and Venetian blind system.
