A bearing assembly is for a driven road vehicle wheel. It has an axial bearing cage (1) for the rollers (5) which press on a plate (8) and another (9), separated by a collar (11) and with a seal (15). The plate (8) is bent over to form an axial part (17). Against the part (17) fits part (19) of the outer cylindrical surface of a radial bearing. This consists of a thin washer (21), the inside of which forms the track for cylindrical rollers (23) held in a cage (25). At one side of the cage is a radial edge (27) and at the other side another one (29). There is an internal grease seal (33), positioned by a stop (35). |
