Stiffening system for platic tanks - having internal ribs whose sides are welded together or to inner profile

A plastic tank, particularly for storage of liquids such as heatin oil, has stiffening ribs in its walls and is blow-moulded; the opposite walls of the ribs are either welded together or to a profile which is inserted into the ribs without penetrating the tank wall. Construction dispenses with reinforcing tapes and is therefore lighter, the area of welding cannot be opened by internal pressure.
