The power supply rail, for indoor lights, has a slide (b), carrying the lead (40) to the light and with a projecting block (22) containing the contacts, and a U-shaped profile (a) containing contact rails and along which the slide runs. The contact rails are embedded in slots in the sides of insulating material inside the profile. The profile has overhanging edges to its entrance. The block contacts, the profile conducting rails and the system of support ledges that holds the slide inside the profile are asymmetric.
