<p>The shank and yoke cores of a multi-shank magnetic cores for transformer and/or choke coils are provided with plastics compression element (7, 8) which consists for all shank and yoke cores (1-4) of a single plate-shaped part. The latter can be formed by cold shaping, pressing, or stamping and matches the outer shape of the complete lamination cross section of the respective magnetic core. The shanks of the compression element preferably protrude of the core shanks, at least partly overlapping the yoke core. The compression element may have one or several recesses, serving for retaining and securing of a non-magnetic band (13). Parts of the compression element may have longitudinal holes (9, 10) in the region of the respective yoke core.</p> |
