The tilting swivel chair is bucket shaped and stands on a tubular leg supported by feet disposed in a star like manner. It is also adjustable in height by operating a lever altering the height of the leg (3). Each side of the bucket chair is provided with a rail (12) accommodating a sliding bar (13). A freely tilting and fully adjustable foot rest (14, 15) is fixed between the retractable sliding bars (13). It incorporates a cushion (18). The chair is a one piece plastics shell upholstered and covered with textiles and can be varied in a number of ways from its original conception.
