An enclosure for a multiple loudspeaker system (21-3) comprises two demountable components (5, 7). They are arranged so that they can be fixed together to form a unitary enclosure having a total enclosed vol. equal to the sum of that of the two component members. A woofer (23) is mounted inn an enclosure member (5) having at least one open side whils the tweeter (21) and mid-range unit (22) are mounted on a separate member (7) also having an open side. The enclosure members (5, 7) having mating edges (61, 71) and are held together by clamps (8). The two members need not be of equal vol. but if they do not have identical cross-sections some form of closure plate is necessary to create a sealed enclosure. The two-part construction facilitates transporting and permits different combinations of speakers to be used together.
