<p>The belt polishing machine is used for finishing glass and ceramic materials with similar properties. The polishing belt (1) runs over two rollers (4, 5) mounted in a vertical housing. The housing is mounted on a U-shaped carrier (11) which in turn is mounted on a trolley (12). The housing is provided with two rollers (9, 10) which extend over its whole height. The edge of the plate to be finished is pushed against these rollers. The U-shaped carrier with housing can be pivoted about an axis parallel to the belt rollers.</p> |
