<p>The process cleans exhaust gas or a mixt. of such gas and air. This is directed first through a layer of fluid and then through a solid filter sprayed with liq. to a chimney. There can be a vessel contg. fluid with a gas inlet pipe and fluid inlet and discharge pipes. Above this is a solid filter, permeable to fluid and with an exhaust pipe forming its roof. This is sprayed with fluid from above. The type of fluid used varies with circumstances, but in many cases water is sufficient.</p> |
