Variable level control for bath - has tap valve which closes when tripped by float device

A level control valve for use with baths allows automatic cut-out when the set level is reached. The level control is built into a bath tap (4) with actuating lever (3) operation. With the spool in the bottom position water is allowed to flow. A spring biased (18) reset pin (20) is restrained by a catch (14) with lever release (11). The lever release is actuated by a bar (7) that is contacted by a preset float unit (6). The catch pivots to release the pin to close the valve. Only when the level reset level (22) is operated is the device ready for use again.
