Tone quality changer for musical instruments - picks up sound signal, passes it through filters and controls inputs of set of amplitude modulators

The changing device uses sound pickups, amplifiers and filters. Parallel filters (F1-FN) are allocated to each fundamental tone to be transmitted and are connected to the output of an amplifier (VE) following the pickup (1) coupled with the musical instrument. Their output voltages are rectified in rectifiers (G1-GN), smoothed in low-pass filters (TP1-TPN) and control the inputs (S) of series of amplitude modulators (AA1-AAN, AB1-ABN, AC1-ACN). Frequencies delivered by an audio frequency generator (T) are applied to the inputs (E) of the modulators, whose outputs are connected to an amplifier (VA).
