The water carburetter produces gas by electrolysis. It can be used as an integrated accessory, both in motor vehicles and for stationary work. In motor vehicles, primary energy is supplied by direct current from an additional dynamo to generate the gas when the engine is running, and when stopped by the battery or the electric mains. The carburettor can be used to supply a mixt. of hydrogen and oxygen or the two separately, dependent which is more suitable for use as fuel. When hydrogen is used as fuel, the oxygen can be derived from the air or a bottle.
