Hand-operated foundation compacting tool - has motor, crank drive and spring-housing positioned to improve stability

Hand-guided foundation compacting tool ensures that a high stability is attained despite the fact that the drive motor is positioned behind the spring housing. The motor, which is e.g. powered by petrol, electricity or compressed air, has a centrifugal clutch joining it to a crank drive. The crank drive, comprising a toothed wheel (4) and connecting rod (5), and the intermediary drive are mounted approx. level with the motor (1) between it and the spring housing (7). The connecting rod is pivoted laterally near to the upper or lower end of the spring housing. The ram (9) and spring housing (7) are guided and secured against rotation by one or more exchangeable grooved blocks in vertical grooves of the housing.
