Electronic circuit coils mounting system - allows fully automated coil winding during manufacture using several parallel ring clamps

A mounting arrangement is used for an electronic circuit coil. It allows fully automatic coil winding and mounting during manufacture. The mounting consists of a roughly rectangular base element (1) which carries the coil core tube (2) on a suitable plinth (3), and there are a number of contact posts (9). The core tube (2) has a number of parallel ring clamps (12) to which the outer winding chassis may be attached, and a vertical gap in all the clamps (12) and base element (1) allows the easy connection of the winding leads to the contact posts (9).
