<p>The crusher consists of housing (1) built around rotor (5) mounted on shaft end (3) of motor (4). The rotor is fitted with swinging beater elements working together with impact strips (6) distributed evenly over the housing circumference. The admission of the grain takes place from hopper (7), chute (8) through an opening in the housing skin (2). The crushed grain leaves the crusher through sieve (9) int the outlet (10). The admission opening in the housing is fitted with slide (15) on arm (14) pivoting on axle (11). Arm (16) rigidly connected with arm (14) is provided with counterweight arranged with tendency to close the opening in the housing. During normal operation the admission opening is kept open by the impact of the circulating grain mass against the carrier lug (13). When grain admission stops, the counterweight becomes effective, the slide (15) closes and counterweight (17) comes to rest against the button of a cutout switch.</p> |
