Motor for the operation of piston pumps, crank drives and vibrators operates with limited short stroke pendulum movements which extend beyond the area of the normal vibration oscillations. The motor consists of a two-armed pendulum lever (2) with its bearing on a stable and stationary pivot (1). Two heavy eccentric half plates (4) have a bearing on both ends of the lever together with the pivots (3) connected to each other by a geared belt or a roller chain (5) and brought to a synchronised run by a drive motor.
