<p>The metering device is particularly suitable for fluid fodder. It consists of a metering container with a bulk material feed, a bulk material outlet and a slide for their selective opening and closing. A tube piece which serves as a housing and has a rectangular cross-section is used as the metering device. The top or bottom tube opening serves as a material feed or outlet for the metering container formed from a part of the tube. A slide for opening and closing the outlet is semi-circular. The closing faces of the slide simultaneously serve as the top or bottom boundary wall for the metering container.</p> |
