<p>The mechanism continuously winds a strip, of paper, on driven drums in succession, and has a pressure roller on a swing arm bearing against the material on the drum. The two drums (4, 5) rotate in stationary mountings in the frame, and the swing arm (9) carries a pressure roller (10) common to both. The pivot point of the arm (8) is adjustable in the frame. The arm can be a double one, with two parallel portions between which the roller is accommodated in a non-adjustable mounting. It can be mounted on a slide (7) working in the frame walls(1), and whose position is adjusted by hand, or as winding on one of the drums proceeds. There can be a further and adjustable roller (11) on the arm, pressing against the first roller.</p> |
