Numerous peroxides are listed, and the copolymers may contain units from other monomers, many of which are listed. Primary curing is suitably effected by heating at 110-190‹ C. for 5-60 minutes, and may be followed if desired by a secondary curing at 110-230‹ C. for 0À5-24 hours. Other conventional additives may be included in the compositions. In examples, ethylene/hexafluoropropylene copolymers, and also terpolymers of these monomers with tetrafluoroethylene or methyl acrylate, are cured, the peroxide being one of the following: decanoyl peroxide, t-butyl peroxybenzoate, benzoyl peroxide and di-cumyl peroxide. |
