The tip fits in a passage formed in the tooth crown and communicating with the pulpy chamber. The tip swivels on the nozzle, typically having a ball fitting in a socket on the nozzle. Alternatively tip and nozzle can be in one piece. There can be a grating in nozzle or tip, and the grating can be arranged to tilt in one plane. |
