A safety device to guard against risks following the overturning of mobile plant. It is carried in a light proof box of a bottom sheet and a cover. The box is fitted to part of the vehicle by four resilient mountings. Inside the box is a transparent spherical container holding viscous, transparent dimethylpolysiloxane liquid of a special types to half depth and covered by an opaque part. A vesical level detector is mounted in the bax. Th detectors are optical and work with a photo electric cell via thesphere, which acts as a lens until the vehicle tilts badly. This then operates electronic equipment to warn the deriver.
