<p>A fire resistant suspended ceiling has a support grid made of angle or channel members of stainless steel sheet, carrying dished stainless steel panels. Two angles mounted back to back have sloping arms projecting from them with parts of their top edges extending above the vertical flanges of the angles. These pass through slots through the horizontal flanges of the sides of the panels. This forms a securing system which does not require screws, bolts, clips or other extra fastenings. Each panel can be filled with a light weight refractory material such as fibre filled cement, or mineral fibre or wool.</p> |
