High speed ink jet printing machine has spray nozzles(7) positioned spirally over the circumference and total width of a roller from which the ink is ejected by means of centrifugal force. The roller comprises several discs(3) arranged next to one another with each nozzle having its outlet controlled by an ink valve. The valve comprises a magnetic needle valve(9) or at least one movable slide valve which is moved by being coupled to bilaminar piezoelectric bending elements. Two of these slide valves are usually provided facing one another across the nozzle outlet(7). The machine is able to print several lines simultaneously at high speed.
